My wedding photography pricing is based on several factors, including the date, location, number of hours needed, and any products or services you’d like included. That said, I strive to offer something for nearly every couple’s needs and budget.
Whether you're planning an intimate celebration or a large event, I’d love the opportunity to create a custom package that fits both your vision and your budget. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch—I look forward to hearing more about your special day!

My style and approach is a generous mix of documentary and editorial portraiture. For the majority of the day, I stay very hands off, focusing 100% on the story. You won’t find me asking you or your friends to stage or recreate moments, but you will find me ready to capture those moments before they even occur. During portraits, it’s a little different. I give plenty of direction, working to bring creative ideas and poses to make images that are as unique as the people in them. Though I do direct during portraits my intentions are to capture the candid moments in between the poses to give you honest, natural photos.
-
Absolutely! While I mainly feature couple portraits on my website and social media, I understand how meaningful these photos are not just to the couple, but to their entire family. Rest assured, you'll find plenty of them in the full client galleries.

Yes, they’re spread out randomly on my website as well as Google & Zola.
Here, is recent review I received:
“He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera”
Thomas did both our engagement and wedding photos and did an absolutely amazing job! He was professional, super communicative, and did fantastic with both posed and candid shots. He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and was a great resource on our venue. He turned our photos around very quickly too, which was nice because we were so anxious to see them! He was so great to work with and we're so happy with our choice to use Thomas!

Most of my weddings are shot in the greater Chicago area and have no associated travel fees. If your wedding is out of state, out of the country, or will require a hotel stay, we can discuss those details as needed

A $800 retainer to own the date.

After we’ve talked and agreed we’re a good fit along with which collection works best for your wedding I will send along a formal proposal with the contract and payment information. I should mention most couples book 12 months in advance and I encourage couples to be prepared to secure their date with a deposit at the consultation. I hate telling couples their date is no longer available; especially after we’ve hit it off!
-
Absolutely! Every photo is personally hand-edited by me, with adjustments for color, exposure, and edited to the same high standards you see on my website and in client galleries.

-
Yes! These are your photos, and you're free to print them anywhere you'd like. If you'd prefer high-quality prints or albums, I also offer options from my professional print lab—but there's no obligation to purchase from me.

You get all the photographer select, edited files in high resolution JPEG format. Easily downloadable with no watermarks via an online gallery. Prints and albums are available (but not required) to be purchased. Image files are typically delivered within 4 weeks after your event. The online gallery is up for 1 year and you can extend that time for an additional fee.

No, I am available for as long as you need me.
I have collections that cover most couples needs, however custom collections are available.
-
Yes. I can provide documentation to your venues if needed.
-
No! However, I will be getting in touch with you in advance of the wedding day to ask for any groupings of formal family photos you may want. Other than the family formals and bride & groom portraits, I will be capturing your day with a truly documentary style and approach. Your job is to enjoy the day with family and friends. My job is to capture it!
-
Absolutely! I think it's really important for photographers to show complete client galleries when presenting their work to potential clients. Anyone can put together a selection of standout images for a portfolio, blog, or social media, but what's really key is showing that your photographer can handle the real challenges of a wedding day. This includes dealing with unpredictable weather, various lighting conditions, and managing group dynamics—all without the luxury of do-overs.

You heard correctly! Before taking pictures of happy couples tying the knot, I worked as a CSI / Forensic Photographer with both the DuPage County (Illinois) Coroners Office and Kane County Major Crimes Task Force (Yes, I’ve shot some crazy stuff). Along the way I did a little bit of teaching and served as the President of the Illinois Division of the International Association for Identification (IDIAI) - which is the state chapter of the worlds oldest and largest professional organization for Crime Scene Investigators.

I sure did! I photographed a private party for them at the Hotel Baker in St. Charles, Illinois, which is the exact same venue where they were married a year prior.
