Chicago Elopement Editorial

A Perfect Blend of Romance and City Vibe

I recently had the pleasure of participating in an elopement wedding editorial shoot right in the heart of downtown Chicago. Hosted by Kristina Conrad of Petal and Pop Weddings and Sara Richardson of SoCo36 Weddings and Events, this shoot was all about capturing the unique blend of urban charm and romantic elegance.

We started the session at the iconic Wrigley Building. Its classic architecture offered a beautiful backdrop that set the tone for the day. From there, we moved to the nearby Riverwalk, where the city skyline and waterfront created a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for the kind of elopement that feels both special and effortless.

The floral bouquet, designed by Modern Story Event Co., added a vibrant touch that complemented the city’s energy. Hair and makeup by Glam It Up Meg were spot on, giving our models, Lougy Salama and Nicole D’Souza, looks that were both polished and naturally beautiful. They brought a genuine connection to each shot, making the whole experience feel authentic.

Lanovia Creations was on-site to capture some fantastic behind-the-scenes content, adding an extra layer of storytelling to the day. Collaborating with such a talented group of creatives made this shoot a memorable experience, and I’m excited to share some of the images we captured.
