Allison & Taylor's Morton Arboretum Wedding
Allison and Taylor’s wedding at Morton Arboretum in Lisle was a great blend of natural beauty and thoughtful planning. The grounds, with their manicured landscape and vibrant colors, gave us plenty to work with—especially the tall spruce trees we used for portraits. Their families brought a lot of warmth and energy, and it was clear how much joy there was in blending traditions and celebrating together. It was a relaxed, well-paced day, and a pleasure to photograph.

“Tom did photography for both our engagement photos and our wedding. He was very easy to work with and our photos came out great! As someone who has a little trouble smiling on camera and doesn’t always know how to pose or what to do with my hands, Tom’s directions and quick pace prevented me from overthinking and made everything look and feel very natural.
We were particularly impressed by his flat lay photos. We didn’t even know this was a thing for weddings and we just handed him an assortment of materials he and our coordinator recommended. He put together some very cool arrangements for photos in a very short amount of time.
He was very flexible and his familiarity with our venue was definitely a bonus. He knew some great spots for photos, but he always had his eye out for anywhere else that would look great too. He did a fantastic job capturing some of our favorite moments (our flower girl who made her own bouquet, our guests having a blast dancing, and even our rabbi playing mini-golf during our cocktail hour!)
My wife and I were on such a tight schedule to be everywhere we needed to be and were constantly pulled to talk to people, but through Tom’s candid photos, we were able to experience many of the things we felt like we missed.”
