2016: Year In Review

My Favorites photos from 2016

One of the hardest skills as a photographer is culling images. Which in layman terms is going through the photos from a wedding or other session and selecting those images that best tell the story; those are the images that will be given special attention during the editing stage and client delivery. Choosing the stand out images from a wedding is easy; it's not choosing some of those images that may not be portfolio quality but tug at the heart in some other fashion. As the wedding photographer, I become emotionally invested to some degree in each wedding I shoot. So, what I have attempted to do this year was pick my favorite 20 images from 2016. Some of these images are portfolio type images. However, most are those images that move me for a deeper reasons. Without further adieu, here they are in no specific order.
