Welcome! I am a Chicago area Photographer with over thirty years of varied and unique experience behind the camera; that includes a formal photography education, over twenty years working as a forensic photographer and ten years documenting weddings.

My journey with photography began over 30 years ago while serving as an Infantryman in the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division taking photographs of the other soldiers in the unit.

Following my military service I earned an Associate of Arts in Photography from the College of DuPage, a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Benedictine University and worked for over 26 years in law enforcement while holding an ancillary position as a Crime Scene Investigator / Forensic Photographer; including 6 years at the DuPage County Coroner’s Office and over 20 years with a local police agency and county major crimes task force in the western suburbs of Chicago (yes, I've shot some crazy stuff). Along the way I picked-up a few professional photography certifications and did a little bit of teaching.

I documented my first wedding in 2006. My love of wedding photography took off from there and has been my primary focus ever since. In addition to working with my own clients I spent five seasons working as a Wedding Photographer with one of the most popular studios in Chicago. I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with some of the nicest couples and shoot in many of Chicagoland's most popular venues. I have documented weddings that have as few as a dozen guests to well over 500. However, no matter the size of the wedding - it's always the story that resonates with me! So, no matter where your wedding is taking place, how big or small or what your budget is, please get in touch. I genuinely would love to hear from you.

I live in the far western suburbs of Chicago with my rather large family and our Siberian Husky, Juno.
